Sri Lankan Pride – Over 15 Nights

Day 01 – Arrival in Sri Lanka – Sigiriya

Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be welcome warmly by an agent from Silver Wings Tours. Then you will be escorted to your vehicle to begin the tour.

Sigiriya is a historical and cultural site in Sri Lanka. Your first visit will be Sigiriya village. You will be having a delicious, spicy, real Sri Lankan lunch there. Boat ride in Sigiriya village, fishing and ride around the village by cart make you forget your home.

Day 02 – Sigiriya – Anuradhapura – Sigiriya

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Anuradhapura. This is the first ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka which has a history of over 2500 years.

You will visit ancient places such as temples, Buddha statues, ancient carvings by our ancestors, rock temples with high architectural value.

Then you will come back to Sigiriya. In the afternoon you will climb Lion Rock in Sigiriya which was a rock fortress built by ancient King Kashyapa. There are lot of attractions in Lion rock such as frescos, king’s ancient garden and many more. Sigiriya is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 03 – Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Arugam Bay

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Arugam Bay.

En route to Arugam Bay you will visit ancient city Polonnaruwa.

Polonnaruwa is the second ancient capital of Sri Lanka which also has a long historical and cultural background. You will visit several temples and ancient places related to the kings.

Evening you can relax at the beach.

Day 04 –Arugam Bay

You can relax at the beach or if you are a surf lover Arugam Bay is the best place for surf, known as surfers’ paradise.

Day 07 –Arugam Bay- Kandy

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Kandy.

En route to Kandy you will visit Cave Temple in Dambulla. A huge gold color Lord Buddha’s statue and lot of ancient paintings in several caves related to Buddhism can be seen here.

Day08 – Kandy

Kandy is the last kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka. This city is rich in cultural heritage.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, You will visit The Sacred Temple of the tooth and walk around Kandy Lake. Kandy view point also an amazing place where you can see the whole city at one place. Sri Lankan cultural dances are one of another most amazing things you can see in Kandy.  You have the opportunity to see Sri Lankan art such as bathik, gems and visit wooden mask factory.

Day 09- Kandy – Nuwara Eliya/Ella

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. Varieties of flora can be seen here.

Nuwara Eliya is the coldest city in Sri Lanka which known as the Little England. Around the hill side roads, you can see several waterfalls with breathtaking greenery environment. En route you will visit tea factory and tea plantation. You have the opportunity to taste our Ceylon tea.

Then you will visit Hanuman Temple and Seetha Eliya Temple which related to famous tale Ramayanaya.

As per your wish you can stop in Nuwara Eliya or can continue to Ella.

Ella also a beautiful village with rich greenery environment.

You will visit the famous Ella bridge with nine arches and a waterfall named Ravana falls the place where King Ravana hid devi Sita. In the afternoon you will climb Mini Adam’s peak.

Day 10- Nuwara Eliya/Ella – Yala

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Yala National park. In Yala you can see huge range of animals including leopards.

Day 11- Yala-Tangalle/ Mirissa

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Tangalle/Mirissa.

Both are beach cities in the Southern part of the country. You can relax at the beach.

If you stay at Mirissa you can see whales and dolphins.

Day 12- Tangalle/ Mirissa

Day 14- Tangalle/Mirissa – Galle/ Bentota

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Galle/Bentota as per your wish. Both are beach cities in the south and Southwest of the country.

En route you will visit Galle the ancient city. In Galle you can see several buildings built by Dutch.

you will go for a boat safari in Madu River, which has several little islands and you can enjoy a fish massage too.

Evening you can rest at the beach.

Day 15- Galle/Bentota – Colombo

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Colombo.

En route you will visit Turtle care center and hatchery in Kosgoda.

Then you will do the city tour of Colombo and visit Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Independence Square, Old Parliament of Sri Lanka, Lotus Tower, Lotus Pond Theater and several more places.

Day 16- Departure

Agent from Silver Wings Tours will drop you off to the Airport.

Experienced guide will stay with you for the whole tour. We always make sure your safety first. Our experienced friendly guides will make your journey more enjoyable and memorable.

Lunch for the whole tour will be taking at local restaurants and dinner can take at the hotel or local restaurant as per your wish.
